Fluffy Friday Week 10

Hi folks! Happy Friday!

Sorry for bailing on you last week. Things have been kinda out of sorts around here, or at least I have been. Not really sure why. I’m struggling with staying on track with everything. I (hadn’t) been working out and frankly didn’t even want to know what the scale said.

I think I am/was beginning to rely too much on breastfeeding for weight loss which should be a bonus and not the main source of calorie burn. I need to get back on track. I’m not exactly sure why I “fell of track” to begin with. Laziness? Crabby infant and angry toddler combo? Eh. But, it’s not as if I like jumped off the path entirely because I was trying (at least a little) with watching my food, but I will admit that I have become way too slack. Maybe since I was still losing weight I let my self think it was okay to eat this or that and not workout. Does any of that make sense? I might just be rambling a bit. I like to do that. Just ask my husband.

So I’ve started C25k again. I went back a week and started on week 3 again. After not running for so long, I needed to ease into it just a bit. It felt good to run again, but it also felt like I had lost any progress I had made. More encouragement to keep at it I guess.

It’s just a quick check in today as I’ve got to get out the door and pick up the party supplies as there is a little man at our house who will be turning 3!

Starting weight 222

2 weeks ago 208.6

This week 207

Total loss 15 lbs (I really love hitting those 5 lb increments)

Template Tuesday

Happy Tuesday folks! I used to hate Tuesday’s as it was the day you had to deal with all of the mistakes you made on Monday because well, it was Monday. Now, Tuesday’s are great because that means I (most of the time) have a new template to share with you! This design just kinda popped into my head as I was trying to fall asleep, I seriously almost got out of bed to go scrap. I might have a problem… But that is neither here nor there, so anyway.

This is scrapped with One of Shabby Princess’ NEW KITS! She just release 3 gorgeous kits, and guess what one of them is called Parker. PARKER! How awesome is that?!? I obviously had to buy it immediately, just on principle. The kit I used here is the new Penelope kit. SOOO cute. Also, they have 3 coordinating freebies if you just want to try them out first. (BTW, I don’t get anything for gushing about this stuff. I really just love it that much)

I really adore this layout. I like all of the different papers and because of that I didn’t add any additional elements. I tried playing around with some but everything I put on there just kinda made it look too busy to me. You could certainly do so though. I also like the idea of picking a solid and a patterned paper and alternating. Whatever you do with it, have fun! And please, if you upload it to any site leave a link in the comments as I would LOVE to see it! Or you could even e-mail it too me!

Just click the preview to download the zip file from Media Fire. 🙂

And as always, please remember that these are for personal use only, thanks!

Happy 5 Months Charlotte!

Now I realize that I never posted Charlotte’s 4 month pictures, but that is because they seriously came off my camera 3 days ago. So, ya. I did do Charlotte’s 4 month layout though and I’ll be sharing that and the template on Tuesday with ya’ll, and I’ve got to say I adore it!

Today though, we did what has become our annual fall family pictures which are the ones that we will use on our Christmas card. Being that we are in Minnesota, fall is just fantastic here and it makes for some of the best pictures. Now, in years past we have use a local photographer, but this year I decided in an effort to save money that I would do the pictures myself. We also invited some friends of ours and I offered to take some pictures of them so we would have someone to push the button for our family shot. Running back and forth from a tripod with a toddler and an infant make for a near impossible shot, so thanks Jenny!

I’ll post more later but here are a few of the little lady as she is 5 months today! Whoa!
