4th of July/Independence Day/Birthday America/BBQ & Beer at noon day/Parade & Fireworks day…
Take your pick.
& holy ___________ (fill in the blank with your own adult language) this is the first post that I’ve done in almost a month. I knew It had been a hella long time, but I didn’t think it had been THAT long. Wow. No wonder I feel a little chaotic in the head parts. Gotta work on that.
I’ve got a lot to get out in the coming weeks, including talking about breastfeeding, weight loss, the kiddos, scrapping, and TONS of pictures to share, but for now just a picture from today. I (probably inappropriately) laugh at this picture because he just looks so grumpy but it was super hot and loud because of the fire trucks so I can’t really blame him.
Happy Easter! We had an amazing day & are completely exhausted, so I promise to post tomorrow after the doctor but I need to get some sleep!
So I’ve (obviously) been kinda quiet these past couple of weeks. I’ve honestly just been taking it easy. Putzing around the house. Digi Scrapbooking. Photo editing. Playing outside with my kid in our freakishly warm January weather. It’s been great. I did get super motivated yesterday though, nesting maybe? but I managed to shampoo the carpet. You really are just going to have to trust me that it is a much larger accomplishment than it sounds. especially 6 months pregnant.
Any who, main reason for this post? Christmas pictures! Okay, so I know that I’m super late with these but oh, well. Deal with it.
The “Obligatory Family Holiday Photo”
Little man LOVES Thomas the Train. I just love this picture.
This pretty lady is my Grandmother. We had her open the “gender reveal” gift. Inside I had wrapped a baby outfit as a fun way to tell the family the sex of the baby. It wasn’t really a surprise though, because everyone already “knew” it was going to be a girl.
Parker really was the best part of Christmas this year. It was the first year that he was really able to open his gifts and get excited about them.
I gave my sister-in-law my camera on Christmas day and said “Go for it”. She snagged this adorable shot of our fur baby Sophie. I had to share.
This kid got so much loot this year it was nuts! This was by far one of his favorites though.
This one just makes me giggle. Please note the 4 cell phones. I promise that we do actually speak to each other. In person.
I hope everyone had an amazing holiday season and new year. It is hard to believe that there will be an 8 month old in our next Christmas photos!
